My 5 year old Maytag refrig (Model # MTB2156DEW) has a puddle of water below the crispers drawers. It is not being opened constantly. I've increased the control settings but that doesn't help. Once cleaned up, the water will reappear in a day or two. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

Hi,
Sounds like your defrost drain line is clogged. If you want to fix it yourself, you would open the inside freezer back panel and then you will see a drain hole under the evaporator coil, if its iced up so much that you can't see it, you will have to get hot water or a hair dryer to melt the ice first. Getting the Repair Manual explains everything in detail. Jake Jake
