Default Maytag MSD2356AE leaking water in fridge (not drain prob)

So we've had countless problems with our fridge in the past few years, but we completely replaced everything.. heater, coils, thermostat, control panel in the fridge (sears did, rather)... and the other day, about 4 days ago, I noticed water accumulating on the top tray of the fridge. The filter seemed plugged in fine, so we decided to make sure the drain in the freezer was ok. Poured some water down the drain, drained properly.. wasnt a drain issue in the freezer.

took off the panel in the fridge to make sure everything was ok, seemed fine. TODAY I was just thinking, maybe its something with the waterline... and so I decided to test the water dispenser.. sure enough, you try to get water out of the fridge's water dispenser and the area where the waterfilter is in the fridge... shoots out water. I'm assuming it happens when the freezer is making ice.. so that could be the problem

My question is.. anyone seen this problem? have any solutions? I've removed the filter and i'm still gettin the water squirting out when i hit the water dispenser trigger..

Just curious what I can do, would love a few cold beers for the 4th :P

Hi,

Sounds like you may need the main fitting, secondary fitting or the filter head.

The Repair Manual will help you, if you plan to do it yourself.
