Default Maytag MSD 2756 GE refrigerators side not cooling

My Maytag side-by-side is cooling very poorly in the refrigerator side. the freezer side is working well with air coming from vents located in the freezer and ice maker compartments. I checked the return air duct in the refrigerator , the circulation fan in the freezer, the evaporator coils in the freezer for ice buildup, all seems well. very little air coming from the two ports in the refrigerator. My next suspected problem would be the automatic damper control. could this cause my problem of very low air flow into the refrigerator side. it also looks to be a more complicated to remove these parts without a manual.
any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like you checked everything, you could take the top console assembly off and check the air flow into the refrigerator section before the air damper, if its blowing good, then its likely your damper thats bad.

its on the rear left side on your top console assembly.
