Maytag Legacy Electric Dryer --> Popped! Now, No Heat?
Have a two year old Maytag Legacy series electric dryer I purchased from Home Depot. Was running the dryer last night, and heard a large pop sound.
Today, I discovered that the dryer no longer heats, but otherwise appears to run normally. I can also smell a distinct electrical burn smell when the dryer is running.
Is this likely due to a bad electric heating element? How to you get access to this heating element? Any other possibilities? Thanks.

- house fuse or breaker ( needs 2! )... - heating element ... - burnt wire ... - thermostats ... thermal fuse ( not all models )... - motor heat switch ... - timer ... - selector switch ... - burnt power cord/plug ...
