msd2465ge - Fridge side not cooling
Fridge side is not cooling, freezer side works fine but I noticed lots of frost.
Not sure if this is related or not, but I came home a few days ago and I noticed the freezer door was not shut properly. Everything in the freezer already started to melt. I closed the door and few hours later the freezer was working fine. 2 days later we noticed the fridge side not cooling properly. prior to this I noticed lots of ice forming on the top shelf by the freezer vent. Needless to say as the fridge stopped working the melting ice from the top shelf puddled out onto the floor.
Tonight (the fridge stopped working last night) I checked the freezer coils and sure enough everything was frozen over. There continued to be a build up of frost inside the freezer. Anyway, removed the buildup of ice from the coils inside the backof the freezer (the coils above the water drip tray) and I have not noticed any improvement on the fridge side. I used a blow dryer on the freezer cois and on the fridge side (above the top shelf by the lights).
My other observation is that I feel a good vacuum seal on the door on the freezer side but not on the fridge side.
What do I need to do next?
Thanks

Your model has the regular defrost timer, not the adaptive defrost control board.
Check this link to help you troubleshoot it:

Thanks.
Just a quick update - We went away for 3 days, and I did nothing other then defrost the freezer coils with a blow dryer before I left.
When we came back the fridge was cold, there was a pile of snow on the top shelf of the fridge and water was dripping from the ceiling of the fridge side.
Are of these still consistent with the defrost timer?
Thanks again.

Yes,
But you would have to test to see what part is out as described in that link I gave you.
