My freezer stopped working on Thurs. Friday all of the sudden it started working again. I went away for the weekend. On Sun the freezer was still working well. Tues afternoon the freezer stopped working again. The fridge is working fine. In fact some of the milk in my fridge froze when I left it on the wrong shelf (that is normal for this fridge atleast.) The fridge is 13 months old and I really hate that I have to pay for labor on this piece of junk. Can anyone help me determine what is wrong with it. My parts are still free.

Its possible a bad condenser fan motor/freezer motor.

If you have a frost build up on the inside of the freezer on the back panel, then you have a auto-defrost part out.

Since you still have a parts warranty on yours, contact Maytag to have a tech. come out, thats necessary for the tech. to order/install the warranty part involved.
