My Maytag dishwasher leaks out the top of the door - it POURS out.

Here's what I've had to do to run it with this problem:

- Duct tape the inside top vent on the door
- clamp the left side of the door closed
- when the dry cycle starts, I remove the inside duct tape off the vent

If I leave either of the first 2 steps out, the leak happens

My Maytag Performa model # is PDB4600AWX, the unit is at least 4 years old.

Any thoughts on how to fix this problem?

I haven't had to repair many of these models, but it sounds like you will need a new latch assembly and a door gasket.
