Default Maytag Dishwasher Model DWU8260 Gets Hung Up

Maytag Dishwasher Model DWU8260 gets hung up during the wash cycle if the Temp Boost option is selected. The Heating Delay Light also stays on. If the Temp Boost option is not selected, it appears to run fine. I'm thinking that the thermostat may need to be replaced. If so, do you know where it is located and how difficult it is to replace? Thanks so much for your help.fficeffice" />>>

Underenath, behind the kick panals.....with the power off, it is fairly easy to change

Thank you. There appears to be 2 thermostats: one with brown and grey wires connecting to it, and another with red and yellow wires connecting to it. I think one is the Temp Boost thermostat and the other the Limiting thermostat. Any idea which one is the Temp Boost ?? Thanks for your help.

The complete model number from the unit is #DWU8260AAX and the serial number is A1104373KB. There is no series number listedfficeffice" />>>

Correct.

Need to read the wire diagram that comes with the d/w.

The safety normally will be closed ( continuity ) and open if the d/w gets too hot and the sani will be open ( no continuity ) and closes once the water has reached the correct temp.
