Mikano is on a distinguished road
Cool Warm then back to normal Maytag Prob

Hi All, I have a Maytag Refridgerater 1 Year old
(Model Number :MBF1956Hew)
Ok , First I had to replace the Electronic Damper Door Control Assembly $300.00 Sixs months ago.
Now The Refrigerater was getting warm , But freezer stays the same no problem. So I lowered the tempter to 3 . I waited 2 days , when I woke up on Sunday morning the Refrigerater was off like if it was normal and went back on and got cold. Now things seem to be normal.
The repair man said it wasn't defrosting caused ice was building up on the bottom of Freezer. wait 24 hours.
Now he ordered a part , I don't remember what part it was but I believe its the part where the light goes on circuit board ??
Does it need a replacment ?
Or should I leave it alone ?

Thanks for your Help.

Did you buy it new 1 yr. ago? If so, your warranty should have paid for the part and labor for that damper door.

Yes, if the repairman said it needed a part for the auto-defrost system, then it needs it.
