Default door doesn't stick closed

My parents have a maytag RSW2200E side by side refrig. The problem is the freezer door does not close. It looks like the magnet lost strength. I tried to clean the door seal and where it meets the refrig surface, didn't help. There is nothing in the way from inside to keep it from closing.
hope you can help THANKS!!!!

Does it physically close against the cabinet, only part of the door closes, "pops" back open, comes to a dead stop before touching the cabinet, ??

Remove the freezer cap and freezerdoor up hinge screws....see if the door will close up ok now. Inside the door is a closure, might be broken...

Door closer assembly - no longer available - This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer

Default door not sticking closed

It doesn't seem to be binding when closing the door. Slamming it close does nothing. It seems to not stick good. This is only the freezer door the other works fine. If you can help telling me something, GREAT! if not I understand and I'll try to figure it out. THANKS AGAIN
