Default Jenn Aire dual fuel range VIBRATION

When I built my current house in 2002 I installed the then current version of JennAire dual fuel convertible grill/range. Since day one the machine has vibrated terribly and I speculated the convection fan being out of balance was the cause. 3 warranty service calls never solved the problem (wrong parts twice). I had the previous incarnation of this machine in my previous house that I built in 97 and it never vibrated at all. Everytime the oven is used it drives me bananas while heating to temperature vibrating the whole kitchen. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jack

It sounds like your convection fan motor or fan blade is the problem.

Whats the model# of your range? its located either inside the oven door, or behind the storage drawer or bottom access panel on the side frame.

Did they change both the cooling fan motor and the convection fan motor?

Here is the cooling fan motor for your model:
Part#74004947 Cooling fan assembly

Here is the convection fan motor:
Part#74011168

Thanks for the info. BTW I think the vibes only happen during heating and end once the temp is satisfied. I need to double check.

Yes, I have seen both of there fans that can make that noise if the fan motor bearing is bad, or somehow the motor mounts come loose, or even if the fan blades somehow get out of alignment and wobble bad.

I can definitely confirm it is the fan inside the oven. This fan only works during bake and until the temperature is satisfied. I may try to replace it myself. It does seem visually to not spin true. I believe it was replaced once under warranty with the same result.
