Default Maytag Refrig Leaking on Floor near Front

RE: Refrig - Maytag: Model MFD2560HEW, SN: 10205516EX. French Door, bottom freezer. 25 CF

The referenced refrigerator leaks periodically under the heat exchanger near the right front of the unit, perhaps a pint at a time. No one has been able to determine where the water is coming from.

The floor around the outside of the Refrigerator are day, and the are under the water hook up and hose connection is dry. There is no evidence of dampness or water leakage at the connections.

I'm wondering whether it is a condensation issue.

Thx g

It sounds more like your defrost pan is out of place. You refrigerator goes into the defrost cycle about every 8 hours or so.

So I would pull your refrigerator away from the wall, then take off your back access cover, get a droplight/flashlight and look to see. There will be a hose that is suppose to drip water into that pan, make sure that hose is lined up too.

Your drain pan is #13 here:
