Does anybody know how to get Maytag/JennAir refrig's into defrost without having to take the refrig control section completely out? This seems a lot of trouble compared to other brands with simpler methods. There has to be an easier and quicker way. Thanks, James |

Are you talking about on a side by side or freezer on top model?

Yes,
The side by side has the defrost board in the right upper side of the control console in the refrigerator section, now some may have a regular defrost timer in there too, so this comes down to having the model# of the refrigerator, so there is no confusion. The top-mount is basically in the same area, but in the middle of the inside control console. Jake
