Default Maytag SxS

I am working on a Maytag SxS Refrig - M/N: MFD2560HEB S/N...........EX

Was called to owner's home for no cooling. Found the LED display with two
[ - - ] being displayed. I unplugged this unit and repowered it. Refrig started up and ran. Found the Tech Data Sheet. We ran the check out procedures listed and found every test we ran, that everything checked out. I am wondering what caused this condition in the first place. Refrig has been running OK since before Christmas. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
