Default water/ice dispenser runs

maytag model MSD2754GRW REFRIG at times dispenser will not shut off when releasing glass from under chute.possible switch or other failed part on its way out.any input would be helpful thanks wayne

Changing your control board and limit switch should fix it.thanks for the quick reply jake.do you think one could not try the limit switch first?just changing both can be costly for a maybe fix.any one else ever run across this type of problem.thanks in advance wayne
