Default Jenn-Air Built in Refrigerator Freezer Fan Noise!

I have a Jenn-Air Built in Refrigerator. The freezer fan is making a loud continuous noise whenever it's on. I confirmed it was this fan by running the system tests. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong with the fan? Also where is it located so that I can take a look at it? Do I need to pull out the whole unit cause if so its a chore.

Whats the model# of your refrigerator? it should be located inside your refrigerator section on the sides or ceiling.

Thanks,

#9 here is your freezer fan motor:
http://www3.sears.com/imaging/ImageP...&titleID=00005

Its behind your back freezer panel inside your freezer, if you just take out your food and remove that panel, you should see it.

Here is a new one for your model, in case you need to order it(click photo for pricing/ordering information):

Thanks for the diagram.

This is what I found:

An iceberg had formed from dripping water and slowly climbed up the wires and into the path of the fan blades.

I used a heat gun to loosen the frozen wires and removed the ice.

Now it looks like this:

and all is well.

Thanks again.

wow, thats alot of ice, it looks like you have either a water leak in that area, or your defrost drain line is clogged up.
