Default MayTag Oven; displays OFF after oven cleaning?

We have a Maytag Magic Chef oven here (all electric), model CER3540AA.

We used the clean oven feature and after that got an error. Unfortunately, they unplugged the oven for 5 minutes and have no recollection of the errorcode.

When trying to use the oven, the display shows "OFF".
The top burners work just fine.

Anyone any idea what this might be?

I'm sorry about that, it's the AAA model.

Oh they "think" the error message was F3 (before they unplugged it).

So, now the clock/control doesn't do anything at all?

F3 is temp. sensor error, but I find lots of these that say F3 and its the control putting out a false error code, and if your control board doesn't work at all now, then I would say its your control board:
