Default Maytag MAH3000AWW giving me trouble again

Hey all, My 1999 MAH3000AWW Neptune front load washer is giving me trouble again. This past fall the machine would not turn off, thanks to advice given here we were able to fix the machine and it worked great until recently. For a few days the machine made a such a loud noise during the spin cycle, sounded as if the washer would take off. Just as suddenly as the noise started it has disappeared but now the clothes come out extremely wet and some water remains in the basket. From what my husband has been able to find out the basket spins, although it may just be the agitating and not the high speed spin needed for water removal. Please let me know if you have any solutions. Thanks, Laroc

Sounds like your tub bearing is shot. It would be very costly to fix.
