I purchased my Neptune washer from Home Depot in 11/04. I never had any of the issues that I've read about in the lawsuit, my unit seems to have been built with the updated parts. The problem I am having is that just as the washer is draining and starting to go into the spin cycle it starts to shake and wobble sometimes violently like it is off balance, even if there is just a small blanket or a towel in the basket. Once it gets up to speed it seems to spin normally and smooth. Once it starts to slow down out of the spin cycle and it reaches a certain RPM then it start to shake a little again, but not as bad as when it starts to spin. I've checked the inertia switch on top of the outer tub and it checked out ok, and I checked the tub displacement switches on the bottom and side and they were ok too. I'm kinda stumped now, do you think it may be the bearings? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

I remember having a similar issue, and replacing the struts fixed it.
Here is a new strut kit for your model in case you need to order it: Rear strut kitJake

I replaced the rear struts and while I was in there I replaced the front suspension springs. It definitely helped a lot. The first load I did it did wobble a little just before going into the spin cycle, but nowhere near as bad as it used to. The second load went through without any wobbling. I guess I'll just keep an eye on it and hope it stays the way it is now.
