Hi.
I have a top freezer, what I've noticed is that the fridge only cools to 50F and the freezer 13F. I bought the fridge in august 2003, has anyone had the same problem? Any ideas, should I increase the temperature settings?

Hi,

Look inside your freezer at your back panel #2 here:

Is that panel frosted-up?

Hi.

I'll check when I get home, what i did notice was in the fridge on the ceiling where the air blows in from the freezer some ice accumulated. It's like water has dripped in or due to condensation.

For the panel in the freezer do I have to remove the panel?

Hi.
I removed the rear panel in the freezer no ice build up. I've cleaned the dust in the rear of the fridge.
I'll allow the fridge to defrost the ice that remains in the fridge in the ceiling and then start it up later, any ideas what can be the problem.

Whats the temperatures are in the freezer and refrigerator sections after you de-ice that air duct and let it run for awhile? give it 4-6 hours.

Hi.
I haven't pluged the fridge back in, should I? I was going to let it sit for at least 12 hours unplugged, unless i heard anything I'll only plug it in tomorrow morning. Then I'll measure the temperatures in both the fridge and freezer sections.

I plugged it in and set the control settings to 6 respectively. The freezer is at about 6F and fridge at 56F, both freezer and fridge are completely empty. (it's been 4hrs now) The fan in the freezer hasn't kicked in yet, is that normal?
Any other ideas?

Its likely your fan motor is bad, but you would need to test the voltage to it.
