My wife was cleaning around the door mechanism and all of a sudden it started beeping and flashed F9. She leaned forward and pressed stop and the clock displayed - while leaning forward she closed the door. She then tried to open the door and it wouldn't - the display changed from the clock to F9. She wasn't using the self clean. We think she must have triggered something around the lock while trying to wipe it clean.

We had a problem with a locked door after a self clean and they replaced the Clock sensor.

The model nr on the last repair is JGR8750ADW

Appreciate any advice you can give as these repair guys charge like wounded bulls.

Try to unplug your range for about 5 minutes to see if it will reset, if not, sounds like you may need a new oven door lock/latch assembly.

Whats the serial# of your range?
