Default Maytag Top Load, oil leak under washer

A pool of oil has surfaced under my Maytag top load washer, seems to be getting more and more noisy also. Any ideas where oil is coming from, trans seal or something else that contains oil???? Thanks for the help, washer is only 2.5 years old!!!!!

Yes, your transmission is leaking oil, you have a 5 yr. part warranty on it, contact Maytag to have a tech. come out.
