Default MSD2356AEW - Water all over floor, now water dispenser doesn't work.

I've got a side by side MSD2356AEW that came in a new house I got recently. The water dispenser was sticking, but other than that the thing was working fine. The other day I got home and the floor was soaked underneath of the thing, so apparently something wasn't right. I shut off the water to it, and ordered a new pressure pad and switch limiter, figuring the switch came on and got stuck. I got the parts and replaced them, and everything works now EXCEPT the water. The ice, etc, all seems ok. I've checked the line pressure and it seems ok. I'm not sure if there is water to the icemaker yet, but I know there is pressure against the filter inside.

I saw in another thread I might need to replace the Ice & water dispenser control board, but the thing is 77 dollars and I just wanted to be sure. Anyone know if its possible this thing would be fried for the water supply but not the rest of it? I mean the ice / lights controls on it work fine.

Thanks for any advice anyone might have!

Check your parts you installed again to make sure everything is correct. You should hear a click sound when you press the water lever, do you hear that?

The only click I hear is the small switch behind the rubber pad being manually triggered. Other than that I don't hear anything. When I came home today, there was a small amount of water on the floor, which looked like it leaked from close to the front of the unit, so perhaps there is something actually wrong with the water line? Also discovered the unit is not making ice now either. One strange thing, when I disconnected the feed on the back of the fridge to the ice tray, it popped and blew, as in it had pressure against it.

This is very unusual, you may have something else more technically involved causing all this to happen, you may need to get an authorized Maytag tech. to come out and see whats going on.
