Hey, my parents have a Maytag MSD2756GEW fridge that one day stopped despensing water and ice. When you try to despense water for example, the light doesn't turn on, it doesn't click, and it doesn't make any noise. It doesn't do anything at all when you put a cup up to it. The LEDs on the despenser work and you can select ice or water... Could a dirty filter cause this?

They just had the little circuit board changed out of it not too long ago and it was working just fine after it was installed.

No, it sounds more like a wire connector came out or something like that. If the circuit board was just replaced, the person who installed it could have only connected the main connector half way, and it just now come out.

How long ago was that board installed?

The one that was changed was the one inside of the refigerator for the cooling system because our fridge wasn't cooling properly. It was replaced about a month ago. The one that is behind the panel with the controls for the despenser has never been touched. The fridge is about 5 years old. Thanks for your help.
