Default diagram for Maytag top-freezer unit?

I suspect that I have a plugged defrost drain system (water leaking inside fridge). Maytag top-freezer model MTB2656AEW.

I'd like to see a diagram if there is one out there before I start tearing into it.

Thanks in advance.

Here is the parts diagram for your model:
MTB2656AEW
Diagram#2 part location#11 is were the defrost water drains down to, then out through the back wall and down to your drain pan.

Thanks, Jake.

I ran a roto-rooter (weedeater line, works great) up from the tube that drips into the drain pan at the bottom all the way up near the console on the ceiling of the fridge ("damper kit"?). I did not come across any obvious blockage.

Since the water is collecting in the fridge and is sometimes visibly dripping from this console and is not collecting in the freezer part. I assume that there is something amiss within this assembly. The fridge appears otherwise to be working (cools well, no frost build-up). It seems that there must be some sort of blockage right there.

Does this sound reasonable to you? Thanks.

Yes, try to get some kind of pressurized air so you can blow down through the tubing to the drain pan. Shoot water down that tube with a turkey baster of something along that line.
