Default Maytag Freezer leaking water

I have a Maytag side by side model number MSD2754GRW.
The freezer drain tube keeps getting plugged up with ice and leaking on the freezer floor and coming out on the house floor. I have uncloged it about 6 times but the same thing happens after a few days. I say it leaking last night and the coils where red and it was melting the ice by them???
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ryan Sutton

The coils were red it was in defrost, thats normal. You may need to run something down through your defrost tube to see if something else is clogging it, if that doesn't resolve it, you will need to replace your defrost drain tube parts.

Jake,
Thanks for your help, I will run something down through the tube. I do remember one time that I did unclog it I ended up with water on the floor before it cloged up again?? Is there any reason it would be creating more water than usual??

Thanks,
Ryan

Not that I could think of.

I always pull the refrigerator out from the wall and access the drain tube from the back as well, its located inside the back access cover. Make sure none of the defrost drain tubing didn't come loose or out of place either.

Thanks Jake for all of your help, I will probably just replace the drain tube this weekend and give it a go. I will post to let you know what happens.
