Default Ice maker supply ice dam?

I have a 1993 Maytag side by side refrigerator/freezer. I can't find the model tag on the sides of the doors, the inside sides or back, or behind the kickplate. Any hints for where to look?

The fridge has an ice maker and in-door water and ice dispenser.

I discovered water on the floor and assumed the water supply was clogged. However, the water dispenser still worked with good flow. The water was not coming continuously. I pulled the fridge out and watched and noted that water was leaking from the supply hose to the ice maker right where the clear hose on the outside mates with the inside line to the ice maker. I reseated the hose, but it continued on the ice maker cycles. It was leaking under pressure.

Ok, so I have a clog in the final section of the ice-maker lines. What is the recommended way to try to clear an ice dam in the line? I can remove all the food, turn the freezer off and wait. Is there a simpler way?

Thanks for any help.

- Mark

On those older Maytag's they used to place the model and serial number tag on the bottom frame, but it seems you looked everywhere for it already.

I use a heat gun, but a hair dryer will do fine.
