Thread: jenn-air ice maker no water

I have jenn-air side by side model JCD2389DES the ice froze in the dispening tube so I defrosted the tube and took out the ice maker tell everything dried up. Then I put everything back togeter and now I get no water. The ice maker makes all the sounds of melting the ice and dumping it, but not water sounds and no water. I unhooked the water and made sure that I had pressure and drained all the lines. But still I am not getting any water. The water on the front of the fridge works great, no water comes out when the power is off. I'm not sure where to go from here or what to check next. I do recall that when I took the ice maker off, I heard the water pump kick on even though I had unhooked the ice maker. I don't know if that caused a problem on not. Can someone please help me.
