Default Panasonic Microwave OVEN

Panasonic Microwave OVEN,
Model # NN-T785SF

Whenever the start button is depressed, you would hear a click, the oven light comes on and the fan also. In about two(2) or three(3) seconds afterwards you would hear another click, the oven light and the fan would gone/turnoff.

There is no heat - none at all!!!

What is wrong here?.Need some advice
Thanks in advance

When this happens, are you setting the timer and does it continue to count down, once the light and fan turn off? The magnetron will not turn on for the first second or two from startup so the no heating condition makes sense, but you need to provide some operational information such as my question above before any real advice can be provided.

Th timer is normally set and countdown but it does not complete its time period when it clicks off.
For e.g.
If i set a time period of 3 seconds it would count down to 2 seconds then turn off,if i set a time period for 1 minute it would turn of within 5 seconds and if i set a time period for 2 minutes, within 5 seconds it turned off.
This type of behavior is just unusual or improper for a microwave oven.

Thanks for the reply

Sounds to me like a control board to me. If it is timing out after 5 seconds no matter what time has been selected, the logic must not be taking in the new timer input and just consistently thinks 5 seconds has been selected.

I gave the control board a good cleaning and came to the conclusion that it's the board before i saw your reply. I hope its not the board because in my country such a thing is not sold here so I left myself open for any reasonable or feasible idea apart from the problem not being the board ,again, I think it's the board.

Thank you for your quick response.
