There are two bake elements on the bottom of this duel fuel professional monogram oven. (ZDP30L4H)
The one on the outside perimiter glows orange and the one in the middle stays black when I turn the oven on to pre heat. This oven is brand new so I have no way of knowing if this is OK because I've never seen the center element change color. Common sense tells me it should and the GE answer center says it should but... When the GE tech came over to take a look he said it was normal for it NOT to glow. ![]() The techs on the forum are not sure so I am asking anyone out there who has a similar oven... Does your center element glow?? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks |
