Default Which brand of range is best for a rental?

Hi !

I would like a good stove..that is not too expensive..

but will be reliable and dependable..with not a history of

repair problems. I notice that there is a G.E. free standing range..and a Frigidaire range..

Any help you can provide would be very appreciated.

Thanks, Mariwen

Personally I did this with my rental, I went to a appliance store and was shopping for a basic machine and went to the scratch dent area and I found a medium line Whirlpool electric range. The range had a dent in the side and a small ding on the lower door. The price was $450.00 on it and the same one on the floor was $640.00, I offered $300.00 for it and the manager accepted the offer. It has been in the rental for a couple years now and I have never had a minutes problem with it. I did add a small note on the rental agreement that the stove was dented and the locations of the dents on the note and had the renter sign it and I signed it also, I did two copies, one for the renter and one for me.

I recently did the same thing with the washer dryer in my own home and got a new top of the line Magtag Neptune front loader washer dryer set for a unreal price. ($500 for the washer and $300 for the matching dryer). They were last years models but who cares that they are dented and no one see the appliance except my wife and me.
