Exclamation Bosch Refrigerator Not Working

Hi,

I have a Bosch KKU3301/01 refrigerator. The problem is that it stopped working. The compressor (I hope this is the right word) does not work. We called in for a service to come and see what the problem is. They said that the compressor has to be changed. But I'm a little suspicious maybe the compressor isn't broken, the only thing the service did was get into the service menu of the refrigerator by pressing two buttons when he was opening the refrigerator. It says P 01, P 02, P 03, P 04, P 05, P 06, P 07, P 08 he tried them all, and when he presses at P 06 it makes a buzz noise like a warning, and when you press P 01 or P 08 the compressor works when you hold the button, but I'm not sure if this is supposed to be done, so I didn't press it much long.

Afterwards today I tried opening the refrigerator again, this time the compressor first starts working but stops after a few seconds.

I hope I managed to explain my problem, and I hope you will be able to help at least find out what the actual problem is. I dont want to pay 300 Euro for a compressor if it's not broken.

Thanks to everybody who replies.

Sorry, I was not able to find any service manuals for Bosch Refrigerators. Maybe someone else on this forum will be able to help you.
