Default Samsung, side by side fridge, not cooling, freezer barely freezing..........

Samsung model# RS253BABB
Serial # 127443CYA00117T

Recently, the fridge and freezer have both had a problem with cooling:

The fridge inside temp is 68 at the top and 58 at the coldest point on the bottom

The freezer temp is 42 at the top (nothing stays frozen here) and 22 at the very bottom shelf

The digital thermostat on the outside of the fridge reads Freezer 61 degrees and Fridge 60 degrees.

I will continue to search online for the manual and any parts diagrams. I am trying to figure out how to (and where) to start trouble shooting the condenser / thermostat. Also, in the mean time, I think that there is a way to defrost the coils and get this thing working again until it freezes over again.......thanks so much.

Default Samsung fridge, side by side, addtional info......

i have been struggling to research this issue on the Samsung model# RS253BABB, side by side. There is not a ton of info, but it looks like the defrost heaters go bad on these and they are integrated into the condenser coils, causing the whole condenser to need to be replaced.

This is a newer sharp looking fridge, but may not be worth fixing. Any input on this or on Samsung fridges in general. What I am reading on the internet has me very worried, as I am not working currently and can't afford a new fridge........ thanks,
