Default [FIXED] New refrigerator unpacking question

We just bought a new Kenmore refrigerator (model #65232), and I am not impressed with the lack of unpacking directions. I followed what few directions there are, but notice that there is still a large piece of thin cardboard attached underneath the refrigerator with multiple plastic connectors. The directions say nothing about this cardboard. My wife feels that this cardboard should be removed, but as securely as it is connected, I wonder if it is designed to remain underneath to keep dust out or something. Can you provide some insight as to what this cardboard is for? and whether or not it should be removed? Thank you.

That's it. #15 looks just like it. I also called the Sears store this afternoon and they confirmed that it is part of the refrigerator and supported the theory that it is designed to keep dust out. I doen't always have faith in retail staff, but I always feel reassured when Jake speaks! If Jake says it is so, you can bet it is. Thanks for your time
