I have checked many appliance part web sites trying to locate the proper replacement condenser fan motor for my Whirlpool EET203EKNRO refridgerator. With the exception of 1 site (& that one had a significantly higher price than most other sites for what appeared to be the same part), none could match my model #. Many sites listed a part # 833697 as a replacement for many of the Whirlpool models, but despite sending emails to these companies, I am still without a definative answer as to which part will work with my unit (one response came back "Your model number does not come up", another came back with a toll free number to call for help - I did & got an estimated wait time of 17 mins, hung up).

Any chance someone here has the info? Is the 833697 right for my unit - it is priced right on some sites but I hate to just order it because of that (I have freed mine up & WD40'd it but this the second time in ~1.5 yrs that I have done this - time to replace it).

Heck, I retired a GE unit less than a month ago that was purhased by my folks in 1949; this one is practically brand new compared to that one (this one's an '80 model).

Thanks for any inputs.

Dick

Hi,

Model# wouldn't come up for me But may be too old for some online lookups!?

**833697**

That is a very common replacement for WLP refrigerators!

Condenser Fan Motor Kit used on many Whirlpool/Kenmore brands refrigerators. 2 Watt Clockwise (CW) 115 volt motor kit.

The part number for the condenser fan motor on that fridge model was # 851618 or an alternate # 851619. Both now substitute to the 833697 motor kit Jeff linked to.

JFYI
