Which multimeter should I get?
Yeah, I know, everyone should have a multimeter in their tool box. I have been asked numerous times how I get the work done I do with out one. Some how I fumble through and figure it out. Well, no more. Not only do I need a multimeter but I also have to learn how to use one. I would l like to get one I can use on my automotive stuff as well as work around the house. I cannot spend a crapton of money but I do understand that I get what I pay for. So can you all guide me in picking out a reasonably priced, good quality multimeter that I can learn how to use?

That one looks good. Will it work on house hold and automotive repairs? Does it come with a book to tell me what the setting should be for the various repairs?

I just got back from Sears and though I am not happy about buying from them, I got one. I really like the one you posted though. Oh well, now it is time to attack this dryer.

I cannot believe this thing did not catch on fire. It was so caked with fuzz that it was singed around where the flame is.
