Lots of Hurricanes the past 2 years,

I remember in 1979 when i went through Hurricane Frederick, I was living in Pensacola , Florida....Lots of wind and rain.

September 12, 1979

Hurricane Frederick made landfall on the Alabama coast. Winds gusted to 145 mph on Dauphin Island with a storm surge of 12 feet. Winds gusted to hurricane force at Meridian, MS even though the city is 140 miles inland. 5 people died and damage was $2.3 billion, most on record to that time.
