Reinstalled the original main board but still have the same problem. Maybe the power supply is bad but I don't have an o-scope to check it and I can't keep just buying parts. May be time to wave the white flag and go buy a new one.

I guess a little threat is all it took. The last time it failed I left it plugged in, unlike every other time. After a few hours, I walked by it and noticed the display wasn't flashing and I could hear the compressor running. I opened the door and check the temps and they were good. Well, it's been working fine since then. Of course I don't trust it. Gremlins moved on maybe?

Gremlins back. Fridge is 55 - I guess the overload tripped and once it cools off it'll start back up. It ran fine for about 24 hrs. I hate to give up because it cools so quickly and is otherwise in excellent shape. Don't know what to do.

Sorry to hear that. This is one of those times that a good technician needs to be there to see what's going on. I wish you well.
