Kenmore HE4 dead control panel

Just wanted to let you all be aware that the new Dryers are not worth it! Ours went out after 6 months. The inside light goes on but the control panel is dead. It is still under manufacturer's warranty (parts and labor for one year) the parts ordered were #8546219 & #280100 ($122.75 & 257.70). Well, the second part is on back order for possibly 4 weeks!!! So they've got to be having serious problems with this! Our Model # is 110.85081400

If anyone else is having problems, be persistant. I was conviently disconnected 2 times last night after being told 3 different expected delivery dates. I called Customer Relations this morning and talked to some expert customer relations people at 1-800-549-4505 option #5. They transferred me to Sears One Source who also offered to pay $25/week for laundrymat fees. This doesn't make up for the wasted time on the 6 weeks without a dryer but it helps! I probably will not be buying a Kenmore or Whirlpool washer or dryer again. Just wanted to try to help others in the same position.
