Looking to buy...
I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel, and have had much good luck with kenmore appliances in the past. I'd also like to take advantag of the latest offerings by Sears of 20% off if you purchase 3 or more appliaces $399 or more.
The range that i am looking at is a Kenmore Elite. I don't know the model, only that it is a discontinued model, and the store model is the only one left. This makes me nervous. the whirlpool equivalent at Lowes is also discontinued. I like the fact that the controls are up front instead of on teh back panel, and the convection oven and ceramic top is nice too. Anybody have any experience with these things? Any particular model known to be problematic and a reason for discontinuation? Any info is much appreciated. Any info on models to stay away from in fridges and dishwashers, or what ones you've been really happy with is welcomed info as well. TIA.
