Ice maker fill tube frozen
I have a Kenmore Coldspot 106.70967990 and the ice maker fill tube keeps freezing up. I thawed it out about a month ago and it worked greast for about a month and now it has frozen up again. I tried to thaw it out again this time but it only dropped maybe 2 trays of ice and was froze up again. Any Ideas?
Thanks for your help.

Low pressure is cause, but also it could be a valve that is not sealing when closing. Make sure the PSI to the refer is at least 30 PSI. DO NOT CONNECT THE REFER TO AN REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM. You are only asking for trouble.

The easiest way to check your pressure is to go down to your local hardware store and get a pressure tester. Most have a hose fitting and you may have to get a adaptor for a 1/4 " pipe. Connect the hose at the back of the refer to the tester and see what your pressure is reading. If your pressure is normal (30-70 psi) you more than likely have a bad valve. If the pressure is low, call a plumber. Also check to water flow to the refer, make sure it is a good flow out the pipe.
