Kenmore Cold Spot Leaking Water from Underneath
Help! We have a Kenmore Cold Spot, Model #106-58282891, and it has been leaking water from underneath. Every morning there is a pool of water in front of the freezer door. We pulled the fridge out and checked the water line and the connection to the fridge hose, it is all dry.
What could it be? Is there a hose under the fridge that may have broken? Is there a blockage of ice somewhere? Could it just be a clogged filter?
Thanks for your help!

Hi KJ,
Open the freezer door and look at the floor of the freezer. Is there any ice build up? My guess is you probably have a blocked drain line. When the refrigerator goes into defrost the water has no place to go except into the freezer. When it builds up enough it runs out the door. Does the water on the floor seem to show up every 8-10 hours?

Hi Rick,
There was no ice or water on the floor of the freezer, and the freezer door seemed dry. It seems like the water was coming from under the freezer. And the puddling seems to be constant, that's why we thought it may be the water line.
Thanks for your help,
Keith

Kieth,
There is a connector for the water line just before it goes up through the door at the hinge. Check that first. You might have to pull the refrigerator away from the wall and remove the back cover. Use a flashlight and look at the drip pan for a leak. I haven't looked up this model and I'm assuming it has an ice-maker, correct?
