Default Outer door glass falls (Model 665.60652000)

The outer door glass on our microwave has slid down. We are able to slide the glass back up into place, but this only lasts for about a week..

If I attempt to fix this, how is the microwave glass held in place?

If I have take the door apart, is there any danger in creating a radiation leak? (When our outer door frame cracked under warranty and a Sears tech replaced it, he also did a radiation leak test once he put the door back together.)

Thanks!

Hi,

Haven't had any of these apart but will guess the glass is likely just pinched in there between the panals....you would learn more once you have the door apart.

No radiation in a microwave, but has an energy light wave. Always best to have the door checked for leaks when done a repair like that, but chances of leaking are small and rare.

The parts breakdown may offer some helps and tips.
