I don't see anything wrong with it. No cracks or anything.

I'm not really sure then without looking at your dishwasher myself, sorry.

You can return the pump/motor assembly if you like, sorry, I wish we could of fixed it on the forum, but it sounds like you have a more in-depth problem that would require a tech come check everything throughly.

Hi Jake (and any other reader) -

I have been living with my semi-cleaning dishwasher for a while now. Lately after the wash cycle, when I go to unload the dishes, the dishwasher stinks. I mean, really foul, rotten egg smell. It happens everytime, regardless of what was washed. Any ideas?

Not sure what the rotten egg smell is coming from, but from our last conversion in January till now, has it been doing more or less ok?

Yeah it's been okay. Basically the same as before I replaced the motor - no major difference. But it runs fine. It just stinks all the time now.

You may want to order this product, its a Deoderizer too:

Removes built-up soap scum and discoloration due to iron and other water impurities. Also works great in washing machines, porcelain sinks and porcelain tubs.
Glisten Dishwasher Cleaner and Deodorizer
