Default 665.13189K800 Drains almost all water

Just got this dishwasher a few days ago. All the water drains out of the main tube, but if I remove the Ultra Wash filter, there is a half inch or so of water in there. Is this normal? I am afraid that water will start to get a build up of nasty stuff. Our old washer wouldn't dran all the way and would get a black build up were the water wouldn't drain. Do you think I need to have it serviced?

Thank you
Brad

Hi Brad,

That sounds about normal, because if all the water was completely out, your rubber tub/motor seals would dry up and start cracking, so the manufacturer's usually all make it leave a very small amount of water in the very bottom where you can't normally see it.
