We have a Kenmore Elite Evenheat gas dryer mod. 110.73932102 that won't run when you push the start button in. If you manually hold the button in it will run however it doesn't get hot. Any suggestions?

Hi Dave,

First swap the heater & motor relay.

First unplug your dryer, then swap the motor and heater relay's#37 and #42 here:

they are the identical same part. Then plug your dryer in and start it, if it runs and stays running after you release the push-to-start button, then you found the problem, you would need to order a new motor relay.

Manufacturer part number 3405281 is RepairClinic item number 528722


Here's how you get access to your inside console, then the console will lift up and tilt it back on its plastic hinges, remember unplug your dryer first:



If swapping the motor/heat relay's didn't work, then its your control board thats bad.
