[FIXED] Kenmore 106.565434 freezer ok/ref not working
I have Kenmore side by side 106.56543400 and having problem with ref section.... all food has gone bad : )
Freezer is working.
When freezer door is open I could feel air comming out around ice maker
I heard clicking sound from air diffuser and were close even ref section is warm and set to 7. so I ordered a part and replaced.
Now air diffuser is working but still having same problem.
When freezer door is open I could feel cold air comming out from air diffuser but if freezer door is closed I do not feel cold air comming out even air diffuser is open.
Oh, while I was replacing air diffuser I did take out back panel of freezer to make sure coil and everythings are ok. Fan is working, coil is clean no ice, drain is working.
Could anyone help?
Thanks

Usually when you open your freezer door and the air flows good into your refrigerator section, then you close the freezer door and it stops flowing good, that indicates an ice clog in your return air duct tunnel assembly.
#4 here is your return air duct louver that unsnaps:

on the the left side wall in your refrigerator section, so you will likely need to remove the middle shelves and lower drawers to access it.
Clear all the ice out and see if that solves it. You can run hot water down and see if it flows out from the bottom vent, take the shelves out of the freezer, then take the lower back panel off from inside the freezer, then you can see the bottom vent to the right.
