freezer works fridge does not
I have a kenmore elite 106.50593003.
It suddenly stopped working all together. I replaced the start relay and now the freezer work but not the fridge. There is no cold air coming from the vents in the fridge side. Also is there a place to get an exploded view of the appliance. thanks

Hi,
When you open the freezer door do you hear the evaporator(freezer) fan running?
Thats what blows the cold air from the freezer into the refrigerator section.
You can look at your refrigerator parts diagrams at http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part...t/index.action

Ok, thats very odd, I've changed hundreds of those start relay's with no problems, you may have a sealed system/compressor problem then, check your evaporator coils and see if they ALL have a thin layer of frost on them.
To access the coils, take everything out of your freezer and take off the lower back access panel inside your freezer, should have about 4 screws holding in place.
