Default [FIXED] 80 series won't agitate

I have a Kenmore washer model# 110.24872300. The machine will not agitate. However, it will spin and drain. Also, water leaks from the tub when it should be agitating. Any suggestions on causes and what to do?

Thanks!

Hi,

Its possibly your clear rubber hose that goes to your water level pressure switch thats either broke or came off, I'd check that first.

Remove the 2 screws under both end caps, then pull the console forward, then tilt it back on its hinges.

Or the tube came off from where it goes down to your outer tub assembly.

Here's how to remove the cabinet to check that:

Excellent Phil, good job finding it was the hose that came off the outer tub assembly and fixing it.
