Default Kenmore Ultra not rinsing

I have a 6 year old Kenmore Ultra that just recently started to leave a soap film on the dishes. If you take a plate out of the finished wash and run it under water it will show bubbles. Any suggestions ?

Ok, Thanks,

Sounds like you'll just need some dishwasher cleaner for the soap build-up that occurs over the years.

Removes built-up soap scum and discoloration due to iron and other water impurities. Also works great in washing machines, porcelain sinks and porcelain tubs. 3 ounce packet.
Glisten Dishwasher Cleaner and Deodorizer

Default misunderstood

I think I didn't make my self clear. Our dishes are coming out with a film on them and also visible soap. the tub itself is not the problem.I was thinking more in the line of the control board not putting the D-washer into a rinse cycle. How can I tell if the D-washer is rinsing? If it's not rinsing what can I do to get it to rinse?

Thanks ,
Daddyo

Ok, from what I understood is the dishwasher complete its entire cycle? and the dishes comes out with visible soap on them, or still in the soap dispenser? and this just started out of the blue?

If this is the case, then its possibly your motor impeller thats stripped causing the water pressure flow to decrease and not allowing full water pressure to be pumped through your spray arms and into the soap dispenser and dishes to clean them off properly in rinse.

Here's the motor assembly for your model you can order:
Manufacturer's Number: 8534942

8534942

Here's the complete sump/motor assembly, with the motor already installed:
Part#8268422
Sump and motor assembly

But first check your chopper screen, as some members have reported that screen being clogged up and causing this problem as well:
From the repair manual read Page 17 Read 1-4 where it says this:

SERVICING COMPONENTS INSIDE THE WASH TUB
Removing the Inner Feed Tube and
Lower Spray Arm

Then on Page 21 it starts to get into detail of how to access the rest where it says this:

Accessing Components of the Sump Assembly

It shows how to get access to the chopper screen and check valve.
